Job Description
Architect and build the core backend systems that power our fintech platform, handling millions of transactions with strict requirements for security, reliability, and performance. You'll lead technical design decisions, mentor senior engineers, and drive the evolution of our microservices architecture.
Our platform processes sensitive financial data and requires expertise in distributed systems, data consistency, and fault tolerance. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Go, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend engineering experience with leadership responsibilities
- Expert-level proficiency in Go, Python, or similar systems programming languages
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, our company) and caching systems (Redis)
- Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and API design
- Experience in fintech, payments, or other regulated industries preferred
- Strong system design and architecture skills
