Job Description
Lead our infrastructure transformation as we scale our e-commerce platform to support Black Friday-level traffic year-round. Our DevOps team is responsible for maintaining 99.99% uptime across our microservices architecture while enabling rapid deployment cycles for our 50+ engineering teams.
As DevOps Lead, you'll architect and implement infrastructure solutions, mentor a team of platform engineers, and establish best practices for security, monitoring, and disaster recovery. You'll work closely with engineering leadership to ensure our infrastructure scales efficiently with business growth.
Requirements
- 6+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, our company)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
- Deep understanding of AWS services and cloud security best practices
- Experience managing high-traffic production systems (10k+ RPS)
