Principal Security Engineer

Our security team is responsible for protecting our platform and the sensitive data of millions of healthcare providers and patients. As a Principal Security Engineer, you'll lead our application security program, design secure architectures, and drive security initiatives across our engineering organization.

You'll work on threat modeling, security reviews, and building security tools that integrate into our development workflow. Our environment includes microservices running on Kubernetes, with a zero-trust security model and comprehensive monitoring.

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity and software engineering
• Deep knowledge of application security, cryptography, and secure coding practices
• Experience with cloud security in AWS, GCP, or Azure environments
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Go, Rust preferred)
• Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes security best practices
• Experience with security tools and frameworks (SAST, DAST, threat modeling)
• Strong communication skills and experience working with engineering teams
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, OSCP, or similar) preferred
