Job Description
Our security team is dedicated to protecting our platform and user data across all aspects of our technology stack. We're looking for a Principal Security Engineer to lead security architecture decisions and drive security initiatives across the organization.
You'll be responsible for designing secure systems, conducting security reviews, and implementing security controls across our cloud-native infrastructure. Our environment includes microservices running on Kubernetes, with applications built in Go, Python, and TypeScript, deployed across multiple cloud providers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity and secure system design
- Deep expertise in cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container security
- Strong knowledge of cryptography, authentication, and authorization systems
- Experience with security tools and frameworks (SAST, DAST, penetration testing)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Python, Rust preferred)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or similar) preferred
