Job Description
Architect and implement the core backend systems that power our high-scale distributed platform. You'll lead technical initiatives across multiple teams, making critical decisions about system design, technology choices, and engineering practices that impact the entire organization.
This is a high-impact role where you'll solve complex technical challenges while mentoring senior engineers and contributing to our technical strategy. You'll work on problems involving distributed systems, data consistency, performance optimization, and service reliability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems at scale
- Expert knowledge of Go, Python, or similar systems programming languages
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and service mesh technologies
- Experience with high-throughput databases (PostgreSQL, our company, Redis) and message queues
- Strong background in system design, performance optimization, and reliability engineering
- Experience with cloud-native technologies and container orchestration
- Track record of technical leadership and cross-team collaboration
