Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Lead the development of cutting-edge ML systems that power our recommendation engine and personalization features. You'll work with petabytes of data to build models that directly impact user engagement and business metrics, while establishing best practices for our growing ML team.

Our platform processes millions of events daily, and you'll be responsible for designing scalable ML pipelines, implementing real-time inference systems, and driving technical decisions across multiple ML initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies including PyTorch, Kubernetes, and Apache Kafka.

• 7+ years of experience in machine learning with focus on large-scale systems
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and MLOps practices
• Strong background in recommendation systems, NLP, or computer vision
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Ray) and streaming systems
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI)
• Track record of deploying ML models to production at scale
• PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field preferred
