Principal Security Engineer

Lead our security engineering efforts to protect our platform, customer data, and infrastructure against evolving threats. You'll design and implement security architectures, conduct security reviews, and work with engineering teams to build security into every aspect of our products and systems.

As a technical leader, you'll drive security initiatives including threat modeling, penetration testing, and incident response while staying current with the latest security trends and vulnerabilities. You'll also mentor other engineers and help establish security standards across our rapidly growing engineering organization.

• 8+ years of security engineering experience with focus on application and infrastructure security
• Deep expertise in secure coding practices, cryptography, and authentication systems
• Experience with cloud security (AWS/GCP), container security, and zero-trust architectures
• Proficiency with security tools (SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanners) and security frameworks
• Knowledge of compliance standards (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA) and risk assessment methodologies
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred
