Principal Security Engineer

Lead our security engineering efforts as we scale our platform to handle sensitive customer data across multiple industries. You'll design and implement security controls, conduct threat modeling, and build security tools that protect our infrastructure and applications.

This role combines hands-on technical work with strategic security planning, working closely with engineering leadership to ensure security is built into every aspect of our platform. You'll also mentor security engineers and drive security awareness across all engineering teams.

• 8+ years of experience in application and infrastructure security
• Deep understanding of cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container security
• Experience with security tooling (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, SIEM)
• Strong knowledge of cryptography, authentication, and authorization systems
• Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA)
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Go, Rust preferred)
• Experience leading security incident response and vulnerability management
